Come Honor Jeff and Bonnie Brown and the PGR Legacy

On Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Broken Arrow City Council meeting taking place at 6:30PM, the City of Broken Arrow will be recognizing the formation of PGR in Broken Arrow. This will include recognizing Jeff and Bonnie Brown for their efforts to create our organization and reviewing a proposal we will make to secure a monument at BA’s Veterans Park commemorating the formation of PGR in Broken Arrow. This is an effort the PGR board have been pursuing and originally hoped to reveal on PGR’s twentieth anniversary last November, however better late than never. We would love to pack the house with friends of Jeff/Bonnie and the PGR to show support for PGR and hopefully the approval of the monument at Veterans Park recognizing our group. Should you wish to speak at the meeting, you must sign up prior to, state which agenda item you wish to speak on, and you will be recognized for three minutes at the point where that item is discussed. We have asked funeral directors and families who have been served by PGR to discuss the positive impact we have had on the communities we serve.

Please get the word out and please make plans to attend if you can. It is a Monday evening, I understand, however what Jeff and Bonnie created, and many of us who took our mission through for the last twenty years, is worth recognition and appreciation for what all of us have accomplished. The address of the meeting is City Hall, 220 South First Street, Broken Arrow 74012. We would love to have a large turnout to support this effort and recognize Jeff and Bonnie Brown for their creating an organization we all can be proud to be a part of. Thanks for all you have done to keep our mission alive and please come celebrate our organization on Monday June 1, 2026, if you can. Please bring your big flag bikes as we will try to arrange premiere parking for our group.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call on me.

OUR MISSION

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security including fallen military heroes, first responders and honorably discharged veterans. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is respect.

Our main mission is to attend the veteran funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:

1.) Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2.) Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

You Don't Need to Ride A Bike!

Cars and Trucks are always welcome.

You Don't Need to Be a Veteran

Everyone is Welcome!

You Only Need Respect

...and a desire to show it.
